Since I’m the smallest frog in the Frog Family, I want to share my top five “little things” I love about Disney that, when added together, make one big Disney difference.
The Street Sweepers
If you’re lucky enough to see a street sweeper “drawing” a character or writing a magical message on the sidewalk, stop and take a look. They’re artists, for sure. Good places to find them are right when you enter the Magic Kingdom shortly after the park opens or around the hotels.
The Smells from the Main Street Confectionery
The mouth-watering aroma that lingers outside the Main Street Confectionery is one-of-a-kind. Mommy Frog calls it “nostalgic.”
Being Called “Princess”
I refer to myself as “Princess Lily” 365 days a year, but I love my days at Walt Disney World when I’m greeted with a “Hello, Princess” by people I don’t even know!
Surprises in the Room
Ok, picture it…you drag yourself back to your room for an afternoon nap, you’re a little cranky and you’re not sure if you can make it until the fireworks that night. You walk through the door and what do you find? Towelgami! The hard-working Cast Members have shaped your towels into elephants, swans, bunnies and Mickey Mouse ears. (Not to mention, made your beds!)
The greeters complete with their “Mickey Mitts” welcoming us to the Magic Kingdom after the park opens make me smile every time.
