Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival
This feast for the eyes and ears continues this weekend at Epcot®. Starship starring Mickey Thomas (We Built This City) will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the America Gardens Theatre. (Show times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m.; arrive early to make sure you get a good seat!) Taniya Nayak, host of HGTV’s Designed to Sell, will give advice on adding value to your home without breaking the bank Friday through Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. in the Festival Center. Mardi Gras @ Universal Orlando
It’s ‘Bands, Beads and Good Times’ yet again this weekend during Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. Sean Kingston (Beautiful Girls) will perform live on the Music Plaza Stage at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Grammy-nominated artist Ne-Yo will follow on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. Stop by the French Quarter Courtyard Friday and Saturday to enjoy sounds of the Big Easy by Lil Bryan & the Zydeco Travellers; show times are 5, 6:15 & 7:15 p.m. Don’t forget to save your spot for the parade that begins at 7:30 p.m. Mardi Gras at Universal Studios is included with regular theme park admission.
Viva La Musica @ SeaWorld & Busch Gardens
Don’t miss the last weekend of Viva La Musica! at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens! We’ve heard firsthand that the music is great, and the food is even better. (Especially the fried plantains and freshly made churros.) Sultry Puerto Rican singer Ednita Nazario will perform Saturday at 3 p.m. at SeaWorld. Ismael Miranda follows on Sunday at Busch Gardens at 5 p.m. Viva La Musica! is included with regular theme park admission.
