It’s shaping up to be a picture-perfect weekend in Orlando. Daytime temperatures are expected to go from the low 70s on Friday to the low 80s on Sunday. Nights will be mild with temperatures in the mid to high 40s.
As spring approaches, so do the crowds! Here are some time-saving tips we’ve picked up along the way.
What’s Happening This Weekend…
Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival
The Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival continues this weekend and it is AMAZING! The Guess Who (“American Woman”) performs this Saturday, March 12th as part of the Flower Power Concert Series. Show times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. at The America Gardens Theatre. Lisa LaPorta, star of the HGTV show Designed to Sell, will give guests easy-to-follow tips for designing their favorite rooms Friday through Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. in the Festival Center. Admission to the festival is included with regular theme park admission. Here are some fun photos of the event that Mommy Frog captured during her day trip to the park last week.
Mardi Gras @ Universal Studios
It’s Mardi Gras at Universal Studios this Saturday! Foreigner will perform live on the Music Plaza Stage at 8:30 p.m. Head over to the French Quarter Courtyard beforehand to listen to funky blues by the Honey Island Swamp Band. Show times are 5, 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. The parade begins at 8 p.m. so make sure to save your spot early so you catch lots of beads! Mardi Gras is included with regular theme park admission.

Viva La Musica kicks off this weekend at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho will perform their Latin hits Saturday at 3 p.m at SeaWorld.
