What’s Happening This Weekend…
Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend
Join the gang from Radiator Springs at Downtown Disney for the first ever Car Masters Weekend this Friday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile will be on hand to meet and greet their fans. There will also be all kinds of Cars activities, including a video kiosk, e-photo opportunities and games. Admission to Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend is free.
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
The festival’s final weekend is all about Pixar Animation Studios, especially Cars 2. (Kids can participate in a Cars 2-themed scavenger hunt around World Showcase.) The Flower Power Concert Series wraps up with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone (I’m Henry VIII, I AM). Show times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Friday through Sunday in the America Gardens Theatre. HGTV superstar, Vern Yip, will round out the HGTV Designer Presentation Series with “Top Design Trends Made Affordable and Accessible.” Show times are noon and 3 p.m. Friday through Sunday in the Festival Center. Big Time Rush LIVE @ Universal Studios
Head over to Universal Studios this Saturday, May 14 for a live performance by Nickelodeon stars Big Time Rush. The concert begins at 7 p.m. If you’re there earlier in the day, you’ll be able to preview a new episode of the hit show Big Time Rush before it airs on TV. The previews are at 1 and 2 p.m. This one-time event is included with regular theme park admission.
