Stars Wars Weekends There’s typically an uptick in crowd levels at the theme parks during Memorial Day Weekend. Star Wars Weekends @ Disney’s Hollywood Studios®
Stormtroopers, Jedi, Wookiees, Oh My! It’s Stars Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® this Friday through Sunday. Celebrity hosts James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Ashley Eckstein (voice of “Ahssoka Tano” from Star Wars: The Clone Wars) will be on hand for special appearances and autograph sessions. Weekend Two’s Celebrity Line-Up includes:

  • Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO for all six Star Wars movies
  • Bruce Spence, who starred as Tion Medon in Revenge of the Sith
  • Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of Captain Rex in Star Wars: The Clone Wars

While at the event, guests will be surrounded by all things Star Wars including our favorite Disney characters dressed in Star Wars themed costumes. Jedi Mickey, anyone? Grab an Event Guide as soon as you enter the park and May the Force be With You!
Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® is included with regular theme park admission.

Cheetah Hunt Coaster Opens at Busch Gardens
It’s finally here! Busch Gardens’ brand new coaster, Cheetah Hunt, opens this Friday, May 27. After “patiently” waiting, guests will be introduced to a “new breed of speed” where up close animal encounters meet the thrill of a coaster only Busch Gardens could provide. While you’re there, don’t forget the rest of the awesome coasters like Gwazi, Kumba and Montu. Take a ride on Cheetah Hunt and come back for a 2nd day for FREE with a ticket to Busch Gardens from Undercover Tourist.

Disney’s Sun & Surf Baseball Bash @ ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
The 2011 summer baseball season kicks off this Friday, May 27 at Disney’s Sun & Surf Baseball Bash presented by Rawlings®. Spectators can watch athletes from 8 years old to 18 while munching on classic baseball food like hotdogs and popcorn. Admission to Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex is required and is included as a ‘fun visit’ on the Water Park Fun & More ticket. (Regular admission is $14.50/adults & $10/children.)

Disney’s Memorial Day Soccer Shootout @ ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Disney’s Memorial Day Soccer Shootout, the largest 3-day soccer tournament at ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex, takes place this weekend from May 28 to May 30. Over the course of the event, spectators will have the opportunity to watch more than 300 teams battle it out in more than 500 soccer matches. Use a ‘fun visit’ from your Water Park Fun & More ticket to attend! (Regular admission is $14.50/adults & $10/children.)
