Visiting in Summer, By Leap

Summer is here!

Here are a few things to keep in mind if you’re traveling to Orlando:

  • Two words for summer weather in Orlando: HOT and HUMID. Average daytime highs are in the low to mid 90s with nights cooling down to the low 70s. Rainfall is high during the summer, but it usually only lasts a few hours before the sun comes out again.
  • Pack light clothing and lots of sunscreen…and don’t forget the bathing suits! Summer is a great time to lounge by the hotel pool or go to a water park. Click here for more Summer Packing Tips.
  • Crowd levels increase during June and are quite high throughout the summer months. It’s still a great time to visit with the beautiful weather and various concert series at the parks.

With the table below you’ll know what to expect. If you have friends visiting Orlando, forward this blog to them so they can pack and plan appropriately. Click here to view information on website.

*Key: Crowd level: Green = low / Yellow = medium / Red = high
