We were as surprised as everyone when Disney raised its prices earlier than expected this year. Around this pond, we went into a froggy frenzy in anticipation of the inevitable increase in orders. And boy oh boy, was there ever an increase!
We wanted to take this opportunity to tell all of you THANK YOU …for being so understanding when we had to increase our shipping time, for being so patient while waiting for your packages to arrive, but most of all, for being such awesome customers of Undercover Tourist.
There were a few questions that popped up more often than others along the way. We’re sharing them here in case anyone else still has some of the same ones…
Can I use my Disney tickets next year, even if I purchase them now?
Yes. Disney tickets do not expire until 14 days from activation (the first time you use it at the park). ‘Non-expiration’ tickets do not expire until all the days/fun visits are used up.
Does my ticket include the FASTPASS?
Yes. All Disney tickets include the FASTPASS which is a free service offered by Disney that allows you to ‘reserve’ your future place in line. (Check out this comic strip that explains the FASTPASS.)
Do you sell the Express Pass for Universal Orlando?
No. You can only buy Express Passes from Universal Orlando, but they can be used along with tickets purchased from Undercover Tourist.
I bought a Water Park Fun & More ticket. Can I use two ‘fun visits’ on one day?
Yes. With the Water Park Fun & More ticket, you will receive the same number of ‘fun visits’ as days on the ticket and you can use more than one in a day. For example, you can use a ‘fun visit’ for Blizzard Beach during the day and use another ‘fun visit’ at DisneyQuest that night. (Here’s a helpful blog that explains the Water Park Fun & More ticket.)
Is Disney going to raise its prices again this year?
We’re not sure. Disney usually only raises once a year, so we don’t think they’ll do it again anytime soon. But we don’t make those decisions, so we can’t say for sure.
Does it normally take 22 business days for the regular free shipping?
No. Our regular free shipping is normally guaranteed to arrive within 10 business days. We had to increase it during this rush, and didn’t want to make any promises we couldn’t keep. (Thanks again for your patience!)

So after consuming an average of 5 pots of coffee a day, taking about 100 trips to the post office and going through about 75 rolls of double-sided tape, it looks like we’re on our way back to “normal.” Well, almost!
