Calling All Foodies! Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is less than a month away!

From September 30 to November 13, 2011, Epcot will be transformed into a food and wine lover’s paradise during the 16th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This popular special event offers something for everyone – from tasty tapas and refreshing beverages to celebrity chef demonstrations and rock star performances.

Here’s an overview of what’s in store during the 2011 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival…

Epcot International Food and Wine Festival International Marketplaces
More than 25 international marketplace kiosks will give guests the opportunity to sample tapas-sized portions of regional specialties with recommended wine and beer pairings. In addition to festival favorites like the Mexico, Greece, France and Hops & Barley kiosks, this year foodies can celebrate the culinary adventures of the Caribbean, Hawaii and Portugal. Eat to the Beat! Concert Series
What is the perfect complement to good food and good wine? Good music! Each night in the America Gardens Theatre, guests can sit back, relax and enjoy live concerts by internationally acclaimed recording artists.

Special Festival Experiences
Stop by the Festival Welcome Center where you can participate in a variety of educational experiences. HGTV stars like Vern Yip, Lisa LaPorta and Monica Pedersen will present home entertaining seminars each Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival. Other offerings included with festival admission are Authors Without Borders when renowned authors from the food and beverage industry will discuss their craft, Authentic Taste Seminars where you can learn about the origins and properties of pure ingredients, Book Signings, Bottle Signings, Celebrity Meet & Greets and more.
