What’s Happening This Weekend…
LEGOLAND Florida Grand Opening
Opening October 15, this 150-acre family theme park, located in Winter Haven, will offer more than 50 rides, shows and attractions geared for families with children ages 2 to 12. Guests can take a Factory Tour to get a firsthand look at how LEGO bricks are made, go on fun rides like The Dragon and AQUAZONE Wave Racers, explore interactive play areas like Pharaoh’s Revenge and The Forestmen’s Hideout, and much more.

Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) @ Universal Studios
The horror continues this weekend at Universal Studios during Halloween Horror Nights 21.
Eight all-new haunted houses, six scare zones, live shows and more await those who dare to tempt “Lady Luck.” (Weekend Schedule: Friday and Saturday from 6:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. until 1 p.m.) Halloween Horror Nights is not included with regular theme park admission. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Enjoy tasty tapas and refreshing beverages from over 25 International Marketplaces, enjoy a concert or two and take in a home improvement seminar in the Festival Center during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this weekend. Starship starring Mickey Thomas (“We Built This City”) will perform each night at the America Gardens Theater in World Showcase. Show times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. HGTV blogger Erin Loechner (“Design Happens”) will share some of her best design tips on Friday and Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is included with regular theme park admission.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party @ Magic Kingdom
From 7 p.m. until midnight this Sunday, Oct. 16, Magic Kingdom will host Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. In addition to exciting entertainment like Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade and Disney Villains Mix & Mingle, party guests can trick-or-treat their way around Magic Kingdom. And be sure not to miss the special fireworks show, Happy HalloWishes. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event and is not included with regular theme park admission.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular
This Saturday and Sunday from noon until 8 p.m., SeaWorld hosts its Halloween Spooktacular. Kids can pick up their Spooktacular maps and follow them to 13 treat stations throughout the park. There will also be special Halloween-themed shows, fun “sea creatures” roaming the crowds and an interactive party zone where kids can dance, create sand art and make candy apples. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is included with regular theme park admission.
Howl-O-Scream @ Busch Gardens
See the “dark side of the gardens” this Friday and Saturday night (7:30 p.m. until 2 a.m.) during Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. Haunted houses like Nevermore, Night Shade Gardens and Zombie Mortuary, musical shows like Fiends and The Midnight Hour, and awesome thrill coasters that will stay open late are just a few event highlights. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens is a separately ticketed event and is not included with regular theme park admission.
