Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party @ Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this Friday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 13. This festive celebration is filled with live entertainment, spectacular fireworks and a holiday parade (complete with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself). Highlights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party include:
- The enchanted Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, with a special appearance by Santa Claus
- Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season, an exclusive holiday fireworks extravaganza
- Live entertainment on the Cinderella Castle Stage featuring your favorite Disney Characters
- Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa
- A magical snow fall on Main Street, U.S.A.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is from 7 p.m. until midnight, but guests with party tickets can enter the park beginning at 4 p.m. Purchase of a special event ticket is required and is not included with regular theme park admission.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights @ Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the breathtaking seasonal display, The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. The Streets of America are blanketed in millions of glittering lights with thousands more forming twirling carousels, heavenly angels, and even Santa and his reindeer. Approximately every 10 minutes, the lights dramatically spring to life and “dance” to traditional holiday music. You have to see it to believe it. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights takes place nightly until Jan. 7, 2012 and is included with regular theme park admission; buy discounted tickets here.
Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade @ Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom gets in the holiday spirit with a special version of its afternoon parade, Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade. Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade combines traditional holiday fun with colorful creatures, festive music, larger-than-life animal puppets, and of course, your favorite Disney Characters. Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade takes place daily at 3:45 p.m. and runs until Jan. 3, 2012. It is included with regular theme park admission.
Festival of the Seasons @ Downtown Disney
Live entertainment, festive decorations, fun photo ops, great shopping and so much more are all a part of Festival of the Seasons at Downtown Disney. Highlights of the festival are definitely the stunning décor which includes twinkling lights across the entire Downtown Disney area and a grandiose tree, as well as a variety of live entertainment including holiday carolers, costumed stilt walkers and street performers, and a lively holiday dance party. Festival of the Seasons at Downtown Disney lasts until Jan. 8, 2012; admission is free.

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Don’t miss your last chance to attend the 2011 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival which ends this Sunday, Nov. 13. Sip and taste your way around the world at more than 25 International Marketplaces (see menus here), attend a concert during the Eat to the Beat! Concert Series, and get some home entertaining tips during an HGTV Home Entertaining Seminar in the Festival Center. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (“Go Daddy-O”) will take to the America Gardens Theatre stage Friday through Sunday at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Emily Henderson, Season 5 winner of “HGTV Design Star,” will present “Secrets from a Stylist” at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is included with regular theme park admission.

Festival of the Masters @ Downtown Disney
The 36th Festival of the Masters takes place this Friday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 13. Featuring more than 150 award-winning artists, this world-renowned open-air art festival is a highly anticipated annual event for guests, artists, collectors and art lovers. In addition to the amazing art showcases, guests can participate in interactive arts and crafts experiences like “Disney Wood-Framing Experience,” “Collaborative Painting” and “Design-Your-Own Friendship Bracelets.” Admission to Festival of the Masters at Downtown Disney is free.
Harry Potter Home Entertainment Celebration @ The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure will celebrate the Home Entertainment release of the final Harry Potter film and mark a decade of movie magic this Friday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 13. In the shadow of Hogwarts castle and throughout Hogsmeade, fans of the film series will enjoy three days of unforgettable excitement including Q&A sessions with Cast Members, Filmmakers and Universal Orlando’s Creative Team as well as screenings of all eight Harry Potter Films. This is a separately ticketed special event and is not included with regular theme park admission.
Aloha Friday @ Loews Royal Pacific Resort (Universal Orlando)
Eat Local Week, Central Florida’s celebration promoting connection, community, culture and cuisine begins this Friday, Nov. 11 at the kick-off event, Aloha Friday. From 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., join Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando for fresh and flavorful food made with locally-grown ingredients. Savor chef-inspired dishes including hibachi beef, fish tacos, pork belly BLTs, wine, beer, a mojito station, live music and much more. Guests must be 21 and older to attend.
