Just for Kids Festival @ SeaWorld
Head over to SeaWorld this Saturday, Jan. 28 for the Just For Kids festival. Live entertainment, kid-sized rides and live animals are just part of the fun. Doodlebops’ Musical Playdate is the featured concert this Saturday. The concerts will be held in the Nautilus Theater at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. They are included with regular admission but seating is limited. Tickets will be distributed across from the Nautilus Theater beginning at 9 a.m. the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis until they run out. Just For Kids is included with regular admission to SeaWorld and continues each Saturday through Feb. 4.
Real Music Concert Series @ Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens welcomes The Glenn Miller Orchestra with the Diamonds this Friday and Saturday as part of its annual Real Music Concert Series. Shows are held at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Stanleyville Theater. The Real Music Concert Series is every Wednesday through Saturday through March 24 and is included with regular admission to Busch Gardens.
Orlando Philharmonic: The Music of Billy Joel & More @ Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre
On Saturday, Jan. 28, the Orlando Philharmonic pays tribute to Billy Joel in an evening of great American rock n’ roll featuring the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, pianist/vocalist Michael Cavanaugh and conductor Dirk Meyer. Joined by his five-piece band and the Orlando Philharmonic, Cavanaugh will perform great Billy Joel favorites like “She’s Got a Way,” “New York State of Mind,” and “Just the Way You Are.” Performances will be held at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre. Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam @ Florida Citrus Bowl
The Advance Auto Parts MONSTER JAM makes its return to the Orlando area this Saturday when the annual motor sports spectacle drives into the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. Sixteen monster trucks – the most ever scheduled for an Orlando event – will compete in side-by-racing and the fan-favorite freestyle competition. The highlight of this year’s event is the 30th anniversary tour of the greatest driver and truck in MONSTER JAM history, Dennis Anderson and an all-new GRAVE DIGGER 30 truck design. MONSTER JAM takes place Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. Bob the Builder – Project: Build It @ Orlando Science Center
Beginning at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Jan. 28, aspiring builders and their families can help Bob the Builder and his Can-Do Crew “get the job done” at the Orlando Science Center. Bob the Builder – Project: Build It is a traveling museum exhibit and the first ever of its kind. Children can practice their own “fixing” with kid-smart activities that build up their can-do attitudes and encourage them to be an active part of Bob the Builder – Project: Build It.
