Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is underway and is guaranteed to put you in a “Spring-y” mood. This special event began on March 7 and will continue until May 20. Here’s an overview of the highlights if you are planning to attend.Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

Get your cameras ready! You’ll find more than 100 topiaries throughout Epcot during the event. This total includes more than 75 Disney Character topiaries. They are amazing! Frog Family favorites from last year included Bambi, Thumper and Butterfly in Bambi’s Butterfly House (watch a walk-thru video); Mickey, Minnie and Pluto behind Spaceship Earth; Epcot International Flower & Garden FestivalBeauty and the Beast Characters in the France Pavilion; and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Germany. Flower Power Concert Series
Each weekend, you’ll be able to enjoy classic tunes from the 60s and 70s during the Flower Power Concert Series. Show times are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. at America Gardens Theatre.

HGTV Designer Presentations
Epcot International Flower & Garden FestivalEach Friday, Saturday and Sunday at noon and 3 p.m., you can get tips and tricks from some of HGTV’s most popular designers in the Festival Center. Last year, we got to meet Vern Yip! This year? We definitely want to learn how we can make our yard “go Disney” from Brandon Johnson.

More Festival Highlights
There’s so much more to see and do during Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival such as…
Educational Presentations: At scheduled times each day, guests can get gardening tips and planting pointers from industry experts.Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Special Displays: You won’t want to miss the special displays including Bambi’s Butterfly House on Imagination Walkway, the Bonsai Collection in the Japan Pavilion, the Spice and Herb Garden in the Morocco Pavilion and the Festival Blooms along the Future World East and West Lake…just to name a few.
Themed Weekends: There are four themed weekends during the festival. March 23 – 25 is Art in the Garden Weekend, a “plein-air” art festival in World Showcase. April 13 – 15 is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Specialists weekend. You’ll be able to meet the experts and learn about indigenous insects in the Festival Center. April 27 – 29 is Florida Federation of Garden Clubs weekend in the Festival Center; you’ll see “amazing arrangements that defy description.” May 4 – 6 is Fresh From Florida Weekend when you can discover the bounty of Florida in the Festival Center.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is included with regular admission to Epcot. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, it’s a great way to begin (or end) a few days of your trip!

    Wow, ralley great preview story. Everytime the Food and Wine Festival is mentioned I always forget about the Food part of it and always think that it is just a giant festival for adults to try Wines.Some of the foods do sound quite interesting, and the Chef that I recognize from the picture is Jamie Deen, who is Ms. Paula Deen’s son! If someone goes they ralley need to get a picture of some of these chefs.That iced coffee looks wonderful, and I hope they make it a permanent drink as I always hear people saying that they want real genuine iced coffee and not just hot coffee with ice thrown in it. On top of that it’s Godly Godiva, yum~
