How’s the weather? There is a 50% chance of isolated showers this Friday with daytime temperatures in the high 70s. Saturday looks partly cloudy and warm with daytime temperatures in the low 80s. It should cool off the rest of the holiday weekend with daytime highs in the low 70s; it looks like thunder showers on Sunday and partly cloudy skies on Monday. What’s Happening This Weekend…
Mardi Gras @ Universal Studios
Mardi Gras continues this Saturday and Sunday at Universal Studios. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, a Mardi Gras parade and delicious Cajun food. This Saturday, Kelly Clarkson will perform live on the Music Plaza Stage at 8:30 p.m. Boyz II Men will follow on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. The Mardi Gras parade kicks off at 7:30 p.m. near the Universal Studios’ Horror Make-Up Show theater on both event nights. Don’t forget to stop by the French Quarter Courtyard to listen to Lil Malcolm & The House Rockers. Arrive a little early for lots of great photo opportunities! Bands, Brew & BBQ @ SeaWorld & Busch Gardens
Bands, Brew & BBQ continues this weekend at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Throughout Bands, Brew & BBQ, the parks partner with favorite local restaurants to offer guests a rich variety of BBQ and grilled foods. There will also be beer gardens at each park featuring craft beers from international and domestic breweries. The highlight of Bands, Brew & BBQ? The Bands!
SeaWorld Concert Line-up:
Saturday, February 18: Trace Adkins
Sunday, February 19: Kenny Rogers
(Concerts are in Bayside Stadium beginning at 4 p.m.)
Busch Gardens Concert Line-up:
Sunday, February 19: Bret Michaels
(Concerts are located at Gwazi Field. Shows begin at 5 p.m.; gates opens at 4 p.m.)
Bands, Brew & BBQ is included with regular admission to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. This special event continues every Saturday and Sunday through March 4.
Real Music Concert Series @ Busch Gardens
The Real Music Concert Series continues this weekend as Busch Gardens welcomes The Osmond Brothers. Shows are held at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Stanleyville Theater. The Real Music Concert Series continues Wednesdays through Saturdays until March 24. Concerts are included with regular admission to Busch Gardens.
Nighttime Entertainment @ Walt Disney World
To accommodate higher crowds over President’s Day Weekend, Disney has a full slate of nighttime shows and entertainment.
At Magic Kingdom – Main Street Electrical Parade will kick off at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is every night at 10 p.m.
At Epcot – IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will begin at 9 p.m. each night.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Fantasmic! will be performed at
7 p.m. on Friday; 7 p.m. and
8:30 p.m. Saturday through Monday.
(All nighttime entertainment is included with regular admission to the Disney theme parks.)
