What’s Happening This Weekend…

Meet Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny @ Magic Kingdom
From 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. this weekend, guests can meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom. The Character Greeting takes place next to City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. Lines will be long, so early in the morning is the best time to go.

Mardi Gras @ Universal Studios
It’s Mardi Gras this Saturday at Universal Studios! Cyndi Lauper will perform on the Universal Music Plaza Stage at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7. The Mardi Gras Parade, which begins next to Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show theater, kicks off at 8 p.m. A great place to spend the afternoon and early evening is The French Quarter Courtyard where you can enjoy authentic Cajun food and music by Rockin’ Jake. Mardi Gras at Universal Studios is included with regular theme park admission.

Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival continues this weekend with live concerts, education seminars and loads of Disney Character topiaries. Chubby Checker & The Wildcats will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of the Flower Power Concert Series. Show times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. at America Gardens Theatre. Dan Faires (HGTV.com’s DanMade) presents “Planning Your Planting with Terrarium, Vertical Gardens and Small Space Greenery” during the HGTV Designer Presentation Series. Presentations are Friday through Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. in the Festival Center. Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is included with regular theme park admission and continues until May 20, 2012.
