What’s Happening This Weekend…

Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival
Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival continues this weekend. The Orchestra (featuring former members of ELO and ELO Part II,Bambi's Butterfly House (Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival) known for Don’t Bring Me Down) will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of the Flower Power Concert Series. Show times are 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre. Antonio Ballatore (The Antonio Treatment) will present “Design Outside of the Box: How to Personalize, Customize, and Inspire” during the HGTV Designer Presentation Series. Presentations are Friday through Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. in the Festival Center. It’s also Fresh from Florida Weekend; head over to the Festival Center to discover the bounty of Florida—from Apalachicola to Zellwood! Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival is included with regular theme park admission and continues until May 20, 2012.

Expedition Everest® Attraction Challenge @ Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
Just after sunset this Saturday, May 5, individuals and teams of two will brave the mysteries of a thrilling 5K trek held in the shadows of Expedition Everest® Attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Parkthe Forbidden Mountain. Teams will have to overcome treacherous obstacles lying in their path and scavenge for clues along their journey to be able to solve the mystery of the mountain in the end. The runDisney Kids’ Races begin at 8:30 p.m.; the Expedition Everest® Attraction Challenge begins at 9:30 p.m.  The Post-Race Party takes place inside the park; post-race party tickets may be purchased for spectators. Viva La Musica @ SeaWorld & Busch Gardens
Viva La Musica (seaworldparks.com)Viva La Musica wraps up this weekend at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. Celebrate the food, fun, sights and sounds of Latin culture at this annual festival, featuring live concerts by internationally renowned Latin musical artists. The fun begins at noon on Saturday, May 5 at SeaWorld. Gilberto Santa Rosa will perform beginning at 3 p.m. in the Bayside Stadium. The event continues at Busch Gardens on Sunday, May 6 beginning at noon. Jerry Rivera will perform at 3 p.m. on Gwazi Field. Viva La Musica is included with regular admission to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.

Universal’s Grad Bash 2012
It’s Grad Bash 2012 this Friday night at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Universal Studios OrlandoGrad Bash 2012 includes live performances by top-artists such as PitBull and DJ Khaled, dance parties, street entertainment and exciting pre-parties. Guests will also be able to experience Universal’s most thrilling rides all night long. This is an after-hours event; Grad Bash is separately ticketed and is not included with regular theme park admission.
