Universal Orlando Announces 2013 Dates for Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror NightsUpdated August 8, 2013:

It’s never too early to start thinking about the most frightening theme park experience you can imagine! Universal has announced the dates for the 2013 Halloween Horror Nights.

For those of you who don’t know, Halloween Horror Nights is one of Universal Orlando’s biggest events (if not the biggest event). Featuring a number of movie set-quality haunted houses and various creatures who roam the park and “engage” with guests, it is guaranteed to scare you out of your mind. Don’t believe me? Check out our coverage from last year!

Halloween Horror Nights

This year’s event will include two dates in November for the first time ever!

This year’s dates:

September 20-21, 26-29

October 3-6, 10-13, 16-20, 23-27 and 31

November 1- 2

This year’s houses:

While details about the houses are starting to trickle in, the first announced house is “Cabin in the Woods,” based off of the film starring Kristen Connolly and Chris Hemsworth.

Additionally, we know that “Walking Dead” will be back for a second year.

    Hi guys

My goal is to be there in HHN 2013, I checked de site, and there´s a warning for kins under age 13.

Since my two kids are 13 and 10, what do you think of taking them anyway? are they allowed to come in?

Thanks for this great help you are providing through all this years.

    My best

    Marcelo, from Buenos Aires, Argentina

      Hi Marcelo,

There is a lot of gore and very realistic (and intense) effects inside the houses. We have seen some children at the event, but there aren’t very many of them.

You know your children best, so I would let that be your guide.

      Best,
