Plan the Ultimate Family Vacation with Our FREE Orlando Planning App

Undercover Tourist Orlando planning app

We've got big news to share today! Undercover Tourist has a brand-new FREE iPhone app for planning your Orlando family vacation. Our new app includes touring plans and wait times for the Walt Disney World® Resort, Universal Orlando® Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando parks PLUS our very popular crowd calendar!

Get Ready to Save Up to 4 Hours a Day with the Undercover Tourist Orlando Planning App!

Touring Plans

The new app incorporates our best touring plans for Disney, Universal and SeaWorld. These are preset plans tailored for families like yours who are trying to save as much time in the parks as possible without having to do all of the research.

For Disney World, each of the plans includes FastPass+ recommendations and allows you to add the FastPass+ reservation times you have already created on My Disney Experience. Those of you who want to take it a step further have the option to create customized touring plans. You can start from one of our pre-set plans for just a few changes here or there, or create a plan from scratch. The app has drag-and-drop and functionality, so when you add new rides or notes, you just move them into place and save!

With all of the plans, you have the ability to track your progress and share your plans with your other family in the parks (or friends who may be headed to the parks soon)!

Undercover Tourist Orlando planning appWait times and Predicted Lines

The new Orlando planning app reflects the wait times data we have collected for the past 15 years. Seasons, special events, time of day, refurbishments, Extra Magic Hours, days of the week and other variables are factored into this data, which is further enhanced by in-park user submits.

Click into a ride, and you can submit wait times. Plus, you can see the predicted wait time curve as well as Frog Family tips and facts.

Additionally, each of the rides, shows and characters include a handy traffic light system that tells you when to visit:

  • Within the first hour
  • Within the first 2 or last 2 hours
  • After noon
  • Anytime

These are perfect for late arrivers and those of you who don't like to follow a touring plan!

Crowd Calendar

The Orlando planning app makes it even easier to pick the best time to visit the parks. You can view park hours, Extra Magic Hours, special events, recommended parks and the overall crowd levels for a full 365 days in advance.

Favorites

You can save your favorite rides, shows and characters so that you can see wait times and other details at a glance in your own custom list. Creating an account is free, and it allows you to sync your favorites across platforms and devices.

So what are you waiting for? Download the new iPhone app and get started today!

This looks like a great resource I'll be using during planning for multi-generation family trip during (unfortunately) early days Spring Break 2016. We've already booked a house in Davenport, grandkids will want as much theme park as possible. Looking forward top hopping with your advice!

I have been fighting cancer 13 yrs, disabled, and in a wheelchair. Last time I was at Dis I didn't need fast passes, 3 yrs ago, now I am told they don't allow those in wheel chairs ahead in lines. I am worried that it will be a nightmare for me on this trip. I can't take long waits - but I am able to ride 95% of all the rides. What is your advice?

Hi there,

You can try for the DAS card by going to Guest Relations and discussing your situation with a Cast Member. Explain your disabilities and why you aren’t able to handle the long waits. If you are granted this pass, then you’ll be able to schedule return times at attractions and instead of waiting in line, you can go experience other things at the park. Have a plan for while you’re at the parks so that you’re hitting priority attractions during slow times and keeping wait times at a minimum!

My wife and I will be in Orlando visiting Universal & Disneyworld. We plan to visit Universal 9/30 and 10/1 with purchasing 2 day Park to Park pass. Will crowds be low at this time? We are staying across the street at Best Western Plus Universal and were told one can walk to Universal. We plan on spending Friday, 10/2 at Disneyworld. Should we be able to see all of Universal in 1 day leaving 2 days for Disneyworld . Your thoughts are much appreciated. Thank you

Hi Jeff,

You can see the predicted crowd levels on our Crowd Calendar page or using the app!

Make sure to decide what your ride/attraction priorities are in advance, so you can make sure to experience them. You really need at least two days to visit Universal, so you'll have to pick and choose.
